The main areas where we provide assistance and legal advice are:

  • Conflicts with retailers, suppliers or service providers

Most of us owe money to someone at some point in our lives. It is easy however, for debts to spiral out of control, and buy ignoring them, the situation only gets worse.

If you have fallen behind with your rent or mortgage instalments, then your landlord or mortgage company may well issue Court Proceedings against you in order to recover possession of the property. If you are faced with this situation, don’t panic, we can help. We can usually negotiate with your landlord/mortgage company so as to prevent Court Proceedings being started. If Proceedings are already underway, we can still help you keep a roof over your head. Usually by offering to pay the instalment as due, along with an offer of an additional amount towards the arrears, you will be able to avoid losing your home.

It is important that you contact us as soon as possible in these situations. If you do nothing, then it is likely that you will lose your home. Don’t assume that because your Landlord/Mortgage Company threaten to take possession of your property, that they will be successful and that there is nothing you can do.

If you have fallen behind with other payments and are being threatened with Court Proceedings, or have debt collection agencies chasing you, we can also help. We may also be able to help if you have the Bailiffs chasing you for money.

When cohabiting couples separate, one of the main obstacles is the property – be it owned in one parties’ sole name or in joint names. More often than not there is no agreement between the parties as to what will happen to the property on separation.

Our specialists are able to offer advice and assistance if you find yourself in this situation. Just because a property is owned in one parties’ sole names does not mean that on separation you are not entitled to a share of the equity. Each case will be looked at individually and the appropriate advice given.

We also are able to assist in resolving other disputes concerning property ranging from Boundary Disputes, Right of Way and Adverse Possession.
