Statutory Declarations, Oaths and Affidavits

A Statutory Declaration is a formal statement of fact declared to be true before a solicitor acting as a Commissioner for Oaths.

An Oath is a sworn statement confirming that the contents of a document are true. An affirmation can be made instead where preferred.

An Affidavit is a written statement sworn or affirmed before a Commissioner for Oaths, often for use in legal proceedings.

As solicitors we are able to administer statutory declarations, oaths and affidavits as Commissioners for Oaths.
